Vintage Overview
The 2021 vintage was near perfect and has delivered a series of outstanding red wines that highlight the full potential of Utopos Vineyard. From bud burst in late September through harvest in March and April, conditions were mild and consistent. Rainfall was well-timed across spring, summer, and autumn, refreshing the vines and maintaining healthy sub-soil moisture. Yields averaged around 1.5 tonnes per acre.
