On the palate the L’Amourouse Rosé for the expected drinking flow, because it is exceedingly juicy, offers some tannic grip and has a slight saltiness on the finish. The red berry fruit and zest mingle with notes of herbs, tobacco and rock. The cuvée has power, but above all freshness and energy. It is fun solo, but also with Mediterranean cuisine.

The fruit of the L’Amourouse Rosés comes from vineyards near Caudiès de Fenouillèdes with calcareous clay soils. Grapes of the Syrah and Merlot varieties were used here. After hand harvesting, they were pressed, spontaneously fermented and aged in concrete.

The 2022s L’Amourouse Rosé smells of barberries and the abrasion of grapefruit peel, of rose hips and red currants, which mix with herbs of Provence and crushed stone to form a fresh whole that stimulates drinking.
