Château Malescot St. Exupery Margaux (Grand Cru Classé) 2017

A distinguished Third Growth Margaux from the historic 1855 Classification, the 2017 vintage of Château Malescot St. Exupéry captures the elegance and finesse of the appellation. Crafted from 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Merlot, the wine is aged in 70% new French oak, adding depth and refinement.

On the nose, it opens with aromas of red and black currants, raspberry, kirsch, and floral notes, layered with hints of cedar, tobacco, and spice. The palate is medium-bodied yet plush, with silky tannins and a vibrant fruit core, finishing long and perfumed with Margaux elegance.

Critics consistently praise the 2017 vintage, with scores ranging from 91–96 points (James Suckling, Wine Advocate, Neal Martin). It is already drinking beautifully but will reward cellaring until 2039.
