A Rare Perpetual Reserve Champagne
Henri Giraud PR 90-20 Champagne is a distinctive Champagne from one of Aÿ’s most respected houses, created through a perpetual reserve approach that brings together depth, freshness and time.
This cuvée is made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, combining wines from 1990 to 2020. The blend includes reserve wine from Henri Giraud’s MV Fût de Chêne solera and an older Esprit Nature solera, creating a Champagne with impressive complexity, energy and vinous character.
Tasting Notes
The nose opens with ripe citrus, apple, chalky minerality and subtle smoky notes.
On the palate, it is dry, focused and layered, showing brioche, toasted hazelnut, dried fruit, grapefruit, dried orange, clove, white peach and fresh custard. The mousse is creamy, while the finish is long, tense and mineral-driven.
Why You’ll Love It
This is a Champagne for customers who enjoy serious, complex and food-friendly bottles.
It has the richness of a mature white wine, the freshness of Champagne, and the depth that comes from a long reserve-wine system. Perfect for collectors, fine dining, luxury gifting or customers who want something more distinctive than a standard non-vintage Champagne.
